About the Governance Forum

Mission

To create an online community that enables IT professionals, academics and researchers to collaborate and share information and best practices dedicated to the advancement of IT governance related to enterprise software development for service oriented architectures, cloud computing, mainframe modernization, and related business initiatives.

The IT Governance Forum

The IT Governance Forum is an online destination for managers, architects and developers interested in sharing best practices and engaging with colleagues through live webinars, online discussion forums and educational materials.

Initially started as the SOA Forum, this online community has evolved to include IT professionals, academics and researchers responsible for one or more of the following:

• Enterprise software development
• Mainframe modernization
• SOA creation, deployment and evolution
• IT governance across the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Cloud computing
• Hybrid computing environments

While housed on the WebLayers website, the IT Governance Forum is committed to remaining an independent community and ‘vendor free’ zone where members can freely exchange ideas, opinions and recommendations that are unfiltered and unedited.
